Exadimension Neptunia is a free anime-style 2D RPG that will appeal to all fans of Japanese pop culture - particularly if they have a taste for the classics. Take control of a set of funky characters, each designed in the very best anime tradition, and guide them on a quest through a world of sci-fi adventure.
A Quest to Save Gamindustri
Exadimension Neptunia offers a tongue-in-cheek storyline set in the land of Gamindustri. This country is ruled by goddesses known as CPUs - but now, those CPUs are in danger. A sinister organisation called the Edicts of Creation has arrived from the PC Continent, and is planning to overthrow the goddesses. It is up to a group of friends - each one embodying a J-RPG archetype - to go on a quest and get to the bottom of the mystery, no matter how dangerous this may be.
New Twists on Old Formulas
Although the presentation of Exadimension Neptunia harks back to classic 16-bit RPGs, it also offers some twists on the old conventions. It does away with the 'grinding' process that frustrates so many RPG players, and has a battle system that allows you to try and predict your opponent's next move - just keep an eye out for the telltale flash.
